Handheld internet devices were stabilizing a bit until the Droid came out in 2009. In 2010 the iPad disrupted the paradigm for accessing the internet and personal computing. In 2011 we might see an auto company or supplier introduce a non-distracting method for drivers to use the internet. The evolution of these devices creates s range of emotions: delight, surprise, satisfaction, frustration, misunderstanding and anger. It also creates legislation and litigation. But let's rise above all that. At some point in the future, the perfect internet devices will be here. In a single 90 minute session, at least five angry, brave, or visionary souls will present concepts verbally, with hand-waving, and possibly with physical examples.
